The Spanish word Encuentro, meaning “gathering,” is used to describe our event that brings together higher education, industry, community members, young professionals and HCI alumnae to network at VALHEN’s Annual Conference. Held on the campus of one of the Commonwealth’s Colleges or Universities, the event focuses on networking and on relevant topics to Hispanics and the Commonwealth. After our conference, we have a lunch reception to honor our Adelante Scholarship winners as well as our inaugural ALIANZA educator awards.
