CONGRATULATIONS, ADELANTE WINNERS!

Every year, VALHEN awards scholarships to students who graduate from a Commonwealth of Virginia high school and/or attend, on a full-time basis, a public or private institution of higher education in Virginia as an undergraduate student. Your generous contributions ensure that talented students realize their full potential and achieve the dream to attend college.

FOR EXISTING SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS ONLY

The VALHEN Scholarships are for college expenses and are sent directly to your higher ed institution in Virginia to pay for tuition during the academic year (fall or spring semesters only no optional terms such as summer or winter). You must fill out the Scholarship Funding Request form to process the payment. VALHEN operates on a fiscal year from July 1st - June 30th so winners are eligible to submit their scholarship requests starting July 1 for the following academic year. Please allow 2-4 weeks for payments. If you are eligible for a renewable scholarship, only submit one request per year. Scholarships can expire and must be requested within five years from the award date. No college or university outside of Virginia is eligible for this funding.
